From 1668 to 1829, 145,000 people were shipped from the slave trading port at St. Louis, Senegal. From 1668 to 1843, 126,000 people were shipped from the slave trading port of Bissau on the coast of modern-day Guinea Bissau, West Africa. These are the lands where Fula/Fulani people were living. From these two slave trading ports, 6,400 people were brought to the Gulf Coast, 10,000 people were brought to the port at Charleston, South Carolina, 4,500 people were brought to Chesapeake, and 1,400 people were brought to New York. In addition, 85,800 people were brought to the Islands of the West Indies.

If you are a Fula/Fulani descendant living in America today, the most likely scenario is that your Fula ancestor was one of those people. To assist in facilitating the repair of that rift created within the Fula people of Guinea Bissau, the Fula History and Genealogy Society in America was established as a 501c3 organization. There are a lot of Fula descendants scattered throughout the United States. Working together, we can reconnect with our culture, teach our children their heritage, and build community together with our Fula family that are concentrated today in Guinea Bissau.

Our Mission

  • To raise awareness about Generational Trauma.

  • To create publish, and promote educational materials for the upliftment and enhancement of Sense-Of-Self in Generation Alpha (2010 -2024).

  • To Encourage descendants of the Fula/Fulani and other discovered tribes in America involvement in the study and preservation of their family history and genealogy.

  • Open African Connection Centers across America for various tribes in the diaspora to meet, build, create, organize, fundraise, and connect to their villages in Africa.

About Queen D. Michele

e

My name is Queen D. Michele. I am a Light Worker, Wayshower, Author and Blogger.  I founded Fula History & Genealogy Society in America, a nonprofit 501c organization.

Trust and believe it is not by accident or coincidence that you have found your way here. It is by divine design. For me, it all started with the African Ancestry DNA Test. I discovered that my maternal lineage is that of Fula from Guinea Bissau. I visited the country and my ancestral Fula village. I returned to the US from that trip committed to connecting and educating African descendants about their ancestral homeland and discovered tribe. It was a mission which came directly from the Ancestors.

I envision people from each of 2,000+ Tribes on the Continent of Africa reuniting with their bloodlines across the Atlantic. I envision a dual citizenship connection with our bloodline country of origin, be it paternal, maternal or both. I am passionate about raising awareness about the Generational Trauma that has been passed down through our bloodlines, and how to begin healing from it.

The Souls of our Ancestors are crying out, “it’s time”! Co Mallard, (member of African Ancestry FB Online Community), said, “We ALL must submit to the Ancestors request, collectively; and share with one another.” I agree wholeheartedly.

Fula History & Genealogy Society in America was created to restore the disconnect of the descendants from Continent of Africa and to introduce a much-needed Conscious Curriculum for Generation Alpha (2010 – 2024). They will eventually be the largest generation in the history of the world.
